Terms of Service

1. Services Provided

We offer custom website design and development services to small businesses. Standard packages include a professional 3-page website. Custom quotes are available for larger or more complex projects.

2. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit is required to begin your project — $50 for standard packages, with custom quotes requiring a deposit based on project scope.
• Custom projects will be quoted separately and may require milestone-based payments.
• All payments are non-refundable once work has started.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide timely access to any content, images, or information needed to complete your website.
• Review and approve work within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ensure that all materials you provide are your own or properly licensed for use.

4. Turnaround Time

Project timelines vary based on complexity and responsiveness. We aim to complete most standard websites within 1–2 weeks of receiving all necessary materials.

5. Revisions

• Your project includes two rounds of revisions. Additional changes may be billed separately.
• After launch, any future updates, edits, or feature additions may incur an additional charge, based on scope and complexity.
• We are happy to provide a quote for any post-launch work.

6. Hosting & Maintenance

• We provide free hosting for your website at no additional monthly cost.
• Ongoing maintenance is not included unless agreed upon. Minor updates or quick fixes may be provided at no cost, while larger changes or new features may require a fee.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of your business content and branding.
• We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio.
• The website code and design may not be resold or redistributed without our consent.

8. Website Attribution

By default, all websites we build will include a small, unobtrusive credit in the footer that reads: Site by Olympia Website Company” — linking back to our website. If you would like this removed, please discuss this with us during the project. A removal fee may apply.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use your website, including but not limited to lost profits or data.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project at any time. If you terminate the project after work has begun, you may still be responsible for partial or full payment, depending on the progress made.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
